DIAGNOSIS
Nasopharyngeal non-keratinizing carcinoma, undifferentiated.

DISCUSSION
Sections reveal large tumor cells growing in a syncytial pattern with indistinct tumor borders, round to oval nuclei and large, central nucleoli. The cytoplasm is eosinophilic. Tumor cells are separated by stroma filled with lymphocytes. This morphology is consistent with nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
