Hillel Kahane, M.D. is a distinguished Board Certified Anatomic Pathologist who specializes in Uropathology. He has interpreted well over 1,000,000 prostate needle biopsies since 1993 and is one of the most in demand second opinion uropathologists in the United States.
Dr. Kahane has held key cardinal positions at a number of renowned national uropathology laboratories. He served as an Attending Pathologist at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and as an Assistant Professor of Pathology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
In 1993, Dr. Kahane was appointed as Executive Medical Director of Uropathology services at DIANON/Labcorp. Over the next 14 years he was responsible for national development and implementation of overall strategies for growth and enhancement of quality uropathology services.
In 2007, Dr. Kahane embraced the position of Medical Director of Bostwick Laboratories, Inc. in New York. He embarked on a leadership role in assembling one of the largest uropathology laboratories focusing on infrastructure development as well as physician client retention throughout the United States.
Dr. Kahane has the unique experience of having collaborated on numerous peer reviewed publications, projects, abstracts, and posters with David G. Bostwick, M.D. and Jonathan I. Epstein, M.D. since 1993.
